Easy Pour Spout Lid for Mason Jar

Love this pour spout. It makes it really easy to control how much concentrate you are pouring.

Not only is the pour spout lid easy to use and so helpful, Piper & Leaf's customer service is amazing! We were gifted the Piper Press Brew Kit and when we discovered that the pour spout got damaged in shipping, customer service was incredibly kind and shipped us a new one very quickly! We quickly put it to good use and it works like a dream.

These tops are perfect for pouring concentrated tea into a measuring cup. It pours out cleanly and smoothly at just the right pace. So far I have never had one of these break on me.

The easy pour spout is the perfect accessory for your mason jar full of tea concentrate. It makes pouring from the large jar, well, EASY! And spill free! We didn't get a spout with the boba tea kit, and I'm not sure why, but there was one in the press kit which is why we realized this little gem is a necessity.

Should be noted that it fits regular-mouth mason jars.

These easy pour spouts are quite convenient. The tea flows out at a nice pace and minimizes messes. They seal quite strongly - get those muscles out - which is helpful again to prevent leaks. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is probably my own fault, but never the less... when pouring the hot concentrate, they tend to dribble all over instead of pouring smoothly. I'm guessing that the little bit of extra pressure that the hot concentrate causes is the culprit and you really shouldn't be pouring hot liquids through plastic, but sometimes you just don't want to wait for a fabulous cup of tea!! I'm still planning to purchase more with my next order.

I received one of these Easy Pour Spout lids in each of my brewing kits. The "Easy" part of the description is the truth. The tea pours out slowly enough to easily measure the one or two ounces into the Mini Measuring Cup without going over the marks. That's really a special thing when pouring from a full quart size mason jar. I really didn't think much of a pour spout until clumsy me used it and realized just how perfect it was. I can't say enough about the whole kit. Really well thought out for ease of use.
